Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information LendMap USA (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit lendmapusa.net, who receives it, and the rights you have over it. The short version: this site is an online platform that holds almost nothing about you — the only place personal information enters the picture is the optional loan request form, which is operated by an independent third party.

1. Who we are

LendMap USA is an ad-supported online platform for state small-dollar lending rules, operated in the United States. For privacy questions, contact privacy@lendmapusa.net.

2. Information we collect ourselves

Browsing lendmapusa.net requires no account, and we do not ask you for personal information. We do not run first-party analytics that build profiles of individual visitors. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) for security and availability — that data stays with the host under its retention policy and is not used by us for marketing.

3. The loan request form is operated by a third party

Our application form is provided by an independent lead network (Zero Parallel), not by us. If you choose to complete it, the information you enter — which can include your name, address, email, phone, date of birth, Social Security number, income and employment details, and bank account information — is collected and processed by that network and shared with independent lenders and lending partners that may respond to your request. We never see, store or transmit those responses.

That means: your use of the form is governed by the privacy policy and terms of the form operator and, eventually, by the lender you choose. Read them before submitting. Submitting a request does not obligate you to accept any offer.

4. How information is shared

• By us: we do not sell, rent or trade personal information, because we do not hold any.
• By the form network: information you submit may be shared with lenders, lending partners, service providers (hosting, identity verification, fraud prevention), and — where permitted and subject to your consent choices — other marketing partners. The network's own privacy policy controls those flows.
• Legal process: like any site operator, we would comply with valid legal process, though given the design of this site we expect little to respond with.

5. Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act notice

LendMap USA is not a financial institution and does not offer financial products or services for personal, family or household purposes, so no GLBA privacy notice is required from us. The lenders that may respond to a form submission are financial institutions; their GLBA notices apply to the loans they offer.

6. Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know what personal information is held about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we hold no personal information about visitors, most requests to us will confirm exactly that. For California rights specifically, see our CCPA page. Requests about information you submitted through the form should go to the form operator and the lender you dealt with — we cannot access or delete their records.

7. Children

This site is directed to adults. Credit applications require you to be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and the site holds none to begin with.

8. Security

See our Security page for the technical measures in place. The most important one is structural: a static site with no user accounts and no database has almost nothing to breach.

9. Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example, if we add first-party analytics — we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be described at the top of the page.
